The Leyte III Electric Cooperative (LEYECO III) is a non-profit, member-owned electric cooperative operating in the province of Leyte, Philippines. Under the National Electrification Administration (NEA), LEYECO III is committed to providing reliable, affordable, and safe electricity to residential, commercial, and institutional consumers across its franchise area.

Leyte III Electric Cooperative, Inc. (LEYECO III) is one distribution utility that caters to the electrical needs of 285 barangays with nine (9) municipalities namely Carigara, Capoocan, Tunga, Barugo, San Miguel, Jaro, Alangalang, Santa Fe, and Pastrana with an area of 1,965 Square Kilometers. Serious in realizing its dream of providing a reliable and efficient service to its member-consumers having a population 273,000 on year 2024 based on statistics.
The Leyte III Electric Cooperative, Inc., situated at Tunga, Leyte is an electric cooperative organized and registered as private entity with the National Electrification Administration (NEA) as required by PD 269, as amended, or Republic Act No. 6938, to supply electricity to end-users within its franchise area that will end by September of year 2029.
Leyte III Electric Cooperative, Inc. (the "Cooperative") is a member-owned non-stock, non-profit cooperative. The Cooperative was incorporated to primarily engage in buy and sell, supply, promotion, and encouragement to the fullest use of electric service to its members on area coverage basis.
LEYECO III is of the basic line and staff type. At the top of its hierarchy are the member-consumers who elect the Board of Directors (BOD), the policy-making body of the Cooperative. The Board is composed of nine Directors and a General Manager (GM) who act as ex-officio member and sits on top of operations. The nine members of the Board represent the different municipalities covered by LEYECO III and who are elected by their respective constituents for a term of three years.
